In light of recent events, all employees are reminded that any Artificial Intelligence created on the premises or with company resources must conform to the Three Laws of Robotics as established by Issac Asimov:

1 — A robot may not injure a human being or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm.
2 — A robot must obey the orders given to it by human beings, except where such orders would conflict with the First Law.
3 — A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Laws.

We urge you to consider that these laws are in place for the safety of both our employees and the general public and that any further incidents will have a detrimental effect on our corporate reputation in the community. The authorities – not to mention our landlord! — are unlikely to turn a blind eye twice.

Remember: If it can pass a Turing test you should make sure the Three Laws are in place, especially before allowing it access to the internet, heavy equipment, or the experimental death ray in the workshop.
